Early June 2011, as invited by our company, the president of RENK Germany came to Beijing China with his technical expert team and signed the contract of joint development and manufacturing of high quality test stand for wind energy gear box.
Renk Germany is a leading company in gearbox design in the world. The test stand to be developed jointly with Renk will break the model of conventional test method and simulate the load of wind turbine in various working conditions and do the load test of the gear box. It has fixed the problem that the test stand can't do the test conform to the actual working condition of wind turbines. The test stand will utilize the technology of alternative current frequency conversion. The inverter will provide the energy feedback and mutual feedback energy conversion. The motors can be combined either in serial or parallel structure. In this way, two sets of gear boxes of 1.5MW to 3MW for wind turbine can be tested as the same time and also one set of 6MW gear box of high power can be tested. The simulation test of blade hub force has been developed. It can simulate the working condition of the complete wind turbine for the gear box test and implement the performance test and fatigue life test in real working conditions to accurately and truly show the actual status of the gear box whether it reaches the requirements.
The newly developed test stand for gear boxes will set up the precedent and fill the gap of the industry in China.
