WG2200-110N Wind Gearbox Wins Germanischer Lloyd Certification

Pub Time   2013-09-07

From Sept. 4th-7th, Teek’s 2.2MW wind gearbox WG2200-110N was certified by the Germanischer Lloyd (GL). GL expert Dr. Karl Steingröver presented at Teek for the onsite testing, gearbox disassembly and assessment. Guests from CSR, wind turbine manufacturer, also witnessed the full-process certification.
During the test, the evaluation index like vibration, air-borne noise, bearing temperature and mechanical efficiency outperform products of the same kind. The gearbox performances are of the same quality as technology source-RENK: acceleration velocity lower than 2.0mm/s, sound power less than 93dB, bearing temperature below 65℃(cooler off),mechanical efficiency as high as 97.4% at 40% load and 98.3% at full load.GL expert remarked that “everything is perfect.”
After inspection over the parts of the disassembled test gearbox, Dr. Karl Steingröver concluded, “full contact pattern, smooth surfaces, no indents and scratches.” he added, “it is one of the best gear surface I ever had seen.”
