According to the news from Tianjin Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, Dr. Toni Weiss from Tianjin Teek has been included in the list of “Tianjin Haihe Friendship Award” and the “Chinese Government Friendship Award” (it is an award to thank and commend the foreign experts for their outstanding achievements and dedication to China’s development and construction in the fields of economy, technology, education and culture as well as personnel cultivation). The assessment on 36 candidates from 32 units was held on April 15, 2014. After a primary selection, 10 candidates were recommended to honor with "Tianjin Haihe Friendship Award".
